The Metabolism Plan – Day 3 with Day 2 Dinner Repeated
Optimal BBT: 97 to 97.3
Functional BBT: 96.5 to 97.3
Above 97.3: Likely to exhibit more hyperthyroid symptoms, such as anxiety, irritability, sleeplessness, and racing heart.
Below 96.5: Likely to exhibit hypothyroid symptoms, such as lethargy, depression, constipation, and weight gain.
Sleep: 8 hours
Test Food: Supposed to be chicken but saving that for tomorrow
Hallelujah! I woke up headache free this morning and almost felt giddy. What a relief. I took my temperature and weighed myself and am down another pound and a half, which means almonds are a non-reactive food for me. Yay!
I made things easier for myself by measuring out my breakfast and lunch last night so all I had to do was throw it all in my (giant) lunch bag and head off to work.
I do find the mornings difficult as I tend to still be hungry after breakfast. Today I ate my snack at 9:30 and then had 2 L of water before lunch ensuring that I was finished 45 minutes before eating again at noon so as to maximize digestion.
Because I missed dinner on Day 1 due to a migraine, I repeated that dinner tonight so I didn’t throw away leftovers. I will eat my day 4 meals as written tomorrow.
I definitely feel a bit more energized today but I am not sure if that is in response to being incapacitated for the better part of 48 hours with a crippling headache and immense fatigue or whether the food I am eating is just agreeing with my body better than what I was consuming previously. Only time will tell J
So tonight I will be eating 1 cup of steamed basmati rice again with kale sautéed in coco sauce, two cups steamed broccoli, shredded carrot and beet salad with sunflower seeds and a dressing of EVOO, lemon juice and dill. Super delish.
Needless to say I am SO looking forward to Wednesday (day 4) as I am able to have coffee with breakfast and 55% dark chocolate for dessert.
